A strong team performance saw a convincing  6-10 to 1-08 victory for the Curraha 2nd team in their opening game.  

The team took control early, leading 5-04 to 1-03 at half-time. Goals from Gavin Coyle (2), Kevin O’Connor (2) and Conor Moriarty laid the foundation, supported by points from Gary Dowling, Moriarty, Kevin O’Connor and Mylo Hussey. Strong work rate and efficient finishing ensured a comfortable lead at the break. 

The second half continued in a similar vein, with further scores from Mylo Hussey, Lucas Duffy, Simon McDermott(2), Jamie Cleary and Cian Heagney, while Gary Dowling added a well-taken goal. The defence remained solid, limiting the opposition throughout. 

There were strong performances across the pitch, with standout displays from Mark Mahon, Ivan Keogh, Lucas Duffy and Kevin O’Connor.
