Curraha welcomed the reigning Leinster Intermediate champions Trim to Joe McDermott Park for the penultimate game of their League campaign. This was a heavily depleted Curraha side, with a host of payers unavailable due to injury, travel and county commitments.

Despite these absences, Curraha started brightly and were very much in the contest throughout the first half, and spurned a couple of early chances. With conditions underfoot not ideal after a torrential downpour earlier in the day, it took both teams some time to adapt to the conditions. The first score of the game didn't arrive until the 12th minute when the visitors managed scored a point through David Murtagh. It was a very tight first half, with the Curraha defence performing admirably and frustrating the Trim attack. Curraha managed to break forward on a number of occasions, but a number of wides and balls dropped short were to prove costly. Luke McCarty registered the hosts first score of the game after 25 minutes with a well struck 45, and was called into action at the other end shortly after, producing a fine save from close range. Trim had the majority of the possession in the opening period, but with both sides struggling for scores, there was little in it at half time, with the visitors ahead 4 points to 1.

The opening 10 minutes of the second half continued in a similar fashion. Curraha defended well and looked threatening on the break but again spurned a couple of good chances for scores. Trim managed just one score in the opening 10 minutes of the second half, but as a depleted Curraha side started to tire, and with the aid of a strong bench, they gradually started to pull away as the half went on. Niall Murphy and Sean Keogh got a couple of scores for Curraha in this period, but they were only consolations as Trim registered 2-7 in the second half.

Curraha make the trip to Dunshaughlin for the last game of the league in 2 weeks' time.
