Curraha travelled to Dunshaughlin for their last game of the league campaign on Tuesday evening.

The hosts made a very fast start and had racked up a score of 1-5 in the opening 10 minutes before James McEntee opened Curraha's account from a free. However, before Curraha had a chance to build on this, Dunshaughlin were in again for a 2nd goal. A Jack O'Connor free and a good score from play from Gavin Coyle were Curraha's only other scores of the opening half, as they failed to recover from their slow start. Dunshaughlin led by 2-8 to 0-3 at half time.

The second half started in similar fashion, with Dunshaughlin registering 1-3 before Curraha managed the steady the ship. O'Connor scored from 2 long range frees, Diarmuid Moriarty fired over a couple of points from play. Seamus Hogan got forward to score from a tight angle on the left. O'Connor and Moriarty added further scores in the last few minutes, with McEntee scoring again in injury time as Curraha finished strongly. However, slow starts in both halves meant the result was no longer in doubt at this stage.

Attention now turns to the Championship for Curraha, with Moynalvey first up on Saturday August 6th.
