Curraha faced Navan O'Mahonys in a repeat of last years relegation playoff semi-final. Despite the awful weather conditions, the 2 teams provided an excellent game of football in this last game of the group stage.

Curraha started well with Podge O'Hanrahan registering the first score following an excellent turnover from Oisin Fay. A foul on O'Hanrahan in the 5th minute allowed James McEntee to open his account. Luke McCarthy produced an outstanding save to deny O'Mahonys soon after, but they responded by scoring the next 3 points, before Diarmuid Moriarty leveled from the right side following good work from Ciaran O'Hanrahan. Conor Moriarty put Curraha back in front following a foul on Luke Farrell, and McEntee extended the lead immediately after. McEntee was on target from play again after a Matthew Webb turnover sparked an excellent team move down the right-hand side. O'Mahonys tagged on scores either side of that to stay in touch. Seamus Hogan was on target with an outstanding effort of the outside of the foot from the left-hand side, and almost immediately after, Curraha found the back of the net. Niall Murphy won the ball from the kickout, exchanged passes with Ciaran O'Hanrahan and fired to the net to leave them in a commanding position approaching half-time. O'Mahonys got the last 2 scores for the half, to leave them behind by 3 points at the break.

O'Mahonys came flying out of the blocks at the start of the 2nd half, and scored the first 5 points. They also forced Luke McCarthy into another excellent save in this period. A McEntee free in the 10th minute steadied the ship for Curraha, and he registered another from play a few minutes later as Curraha started to dominate proceedings again. Seamus Hogan got his second of the day after a great move involving Niall McLarnon and Gavin Coyle. From the resulting kick out, Hogan gathered possession again and his long ball was gathered by Conor Moriarty and finished well for Curraha's 2nd goal, and give them a 4-point advantage with 10 minutes to play. However, this was to prove to be their last score of the game. O'Mahonys scored 2 frees to reduce the gap, and then converted a penalty following a defensive mix-up in the Curraha backline. The last 2 scores of the game went their way to leave them 3 points in front at the final whistle.
